I love walking in Monterey from historic San Carlos Cathedral to Lake Elestero, Monterey Beach, Wharf 2, Maritime Museum, Fisherman’s Wharf, charming Downtown Monterey with all its historic sites, and not to be forgotten great restaurants, cafes, and fun stores. If the kids still need something to do, there is always the Sports Center or MY Museum.

When you do the Molera 8 mile loop, don’t forget to take in your backpack a goumet boxed lunch from Plumes or Paris Bakery.
