Gina: October is a smart choice to have the wedding. It will be less crowed and the weather is nice. My favorite place to order cake is Layers Bakery. I suggest you consult a wedding consultant to narrow down your choice. .

I was recently married this past Halloween 2008. I wanted a simple and small but beautiful ceremony. I LOVED what I decided on. My husband and I met about 15 friends and family members down at the grassy area a couple of miles past the Tin Cannery. Ocean just behind us, we could hear the waves crashing. We met about 30 minutes before sunset and the pictures turned out great. The sky was beautiful. I wore a sleeveless halter dress and I wasn’t cold at all. October is a great month to marry in Monterey. Anyone looking for a stress free beautiful day this is the way to go.

October is of the most beautiful month in the Monterey Peninsula and therefore wedding services fill up fast. They are both extremely helpful!

My husband and I would like to renew or vows on the beach. We want it to be just with family (about 50 people) and we are on a buget! Need some ideas. We want to do this on Oct 23, 2010.
